As of Oct. 15 2009, the key IPR holders and their IPR shares for mobile telecom were as follows:
Ericsson (3923), Nokia (3376), Motorola (3364), Samsung (2148), NEC (2061), Alcatel-Lucent (2013), Qualcomm (1997), MS (1884), Matsushita (1573), and IBM (1544).
For each IPR holders, patent lication cases are counted using Innography for the measure of the litigation per patent. The results were as follows:
Ericsson (0.01), Nokia (0.02), Motorola (0.05), Samsung (0.09), NEC (0.04), Alcatel-Lucent (0.06), Qualcomm (0.03), MS (0.11), Matsushita (0.07), and IBM (0.07).
